Hollow Crow Lords Of The Fallen Location And Combat Strategy

1 October 2026 | 94

Navigating the harsh, frozen landscapes in Lords of the Fallen often leads players to encounter formidable boss encounters that test both skill and patience. Among these encounters, the fight against the Hollow Crow stands out as a unique challenge due to its unusual arena mechanics and multi-phase progression. Understanding where to locate this boss and how to deal with its summon-heavy tactics is crucial for advancing through the campaign without unnecessary frustration.

Where to Find the Hollow Crow

The Hollow Crow resides at the end of the Fief of the Chill Curse region. Players can spot the massive nest perched atop a fortress in the distance as they trek through the snowy paths. A helpful Vestige is situated right before the arena entrance, ensuring you do not need to spend a Vestige Seed before starting the fight.

Preparing for the encounter involves equipping gear with high ice resistance and stocking up on frostbite remedies. Additionally, summoning an NPC companion like Pieta or Kukajin can drastically ease the burden of managing add groups during the battle.

Understanding the Boss Mechanics and Weaknesses

Unlike standard boss fights where you directly strike the main creature, the Hollow Crow itself remains perched in its nest and cannot be damaged normally. Instead, players must direct their attacks toward Lucy, a floating spectral entity that acts as the boss's vulnerable proxy. While in Axiom, you must use your Umbral Lamp to Soulflay Lucy, revealing her soul for follow-up strikes.

If you prefer to avoid constant soulflaying, transitioning directly into the Umbral realm allows you to damage Lucy with standard weapon attacks. Since the encounter features heavy use of frost abilities, equipping weapons with fire damage or applying Inferno buffs will maximize your damage output against the boss.

Phase Breakdown and Combat Tactics

The encounter is divided into multiple main phases interspersed with ice-hazard interludes. During the main phases, Lucy summons groups of enemies ranging from basic zombies and wolves to ice mages and armored Kinrangr Guardians. Depleting Lucy's health bar instantly eliminates all summoned mobs in the arena, making it beneficial to focus directly on her whenever possible.

In the transition phases, the Hollow Crow spams the arena with ice spikes, homing frost bolts, and expanding blizzard hazards. Staying near the center while avoiding the extreme edges of the arena gives you ample time to dodge incoming projectiles. Once Lucy is defeated three times, the Hollow Crow drops down, allowing you to deal the final execution blow.
